The more you know about your community, the better you can provide likeable and shareable Facebook content.
Facebook came out and said directly. Pages whose content isn’t shared by fans will be at a huge disadvantage. We don’t want your school to be left in the dark, so listen up!
Make a list of interests that are relevant to your business. Then make a list of people and businesses who are within your area. Now compare those lists, any similarities? Curate shareable Facebook content from local pages. Find other businesses within your area for collaboration potential remember the saying “Community over Competition”.
Create original content.
People want to know what makes your school unique and what sets you apart from the next guy. So let them know, don’t be humble, why is your school so awesome?
Share content your fans want to read. Want to know what your viewers are sharing? Search “articles shared by people who like “your page” or “articles shared by people who are not my friends but like “your page”. You could also search articles by industry influencers. Then use this data to gather ideas, shareable content that you already know works great and create new original content from it.
Create engaging, informative video. We have stressed the importance of video before and we will say it again. Video is king.
Ask questions to encourage engagement. Posting thought provoking questions to your page is one of the best ways to increase engagement. Everyone loves to talk, especially about themselves. Ask questions…they will answer. Promise.
Lastly, post frequently to get more reach. Facebook organic reach has fallen, this means posting high qualify content more frequently can lead to better engagement and increase reach for your posts.
